Order of Christian Initiation For Adults (OCIA), formerly known as Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA).
This is a program for individuals interested in becoming Catholic and receiving the sacraments of initiation: Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation.

Classes for the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA, formerly known as RCIA) and for Adult Confirmation will be starting October 6, 2025 and will meet every Monday evening at 6:00 PM in Room 1 of Fatima-Gallagher Hall until June.
OCIA is intended for unbaptized adults who wish to become baptized Catholics, for Christians who have
been baptized in another Christian denomination and now wish to become Catholic, and for Catholics who were baptized but did not receive any additional Sacraments.
The Adult Confirmation classes are for baptized Catholics who have received First Reconciliation and
First Holy Communion, but never received the Sacrament of Confirmation.
There is no cost to participate. Registration for OCIA should take place before the first class starts. Please download and complete the OCIA registration form, then call the Parish Office to schedule a meeting with Father De Palma. Bring the completed registration, form along with your state certified birth certificate and or other documentation required to your scheduled meeting.
We ask that if you have received any Sacraments that you please bring the Certificates with you when you meet with Father. If you have not received any sacraments, please bring your State Certified Birth Certificate. We can make copies at the office!Sacraments will be received at the Mass of the Easter Vigil on Saturday, April 4, 2026. For more

If public health conditions at any time do not permit in-person gatherings, we will continue scheduled classes via video-conferencing sessions in which you will be notified via email.
