On the Fridays of the first three weeks of Advent (December 6th, 13th, and 20th) we will be having special Advent celebrations beginning in the church with the praying of the Stations of the Crib at 6:30 PM followed by an Advent presentation at 7:00 PM. The Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) will also be available from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. At 7:30 PM, cookies, coffee and hot cocoa will be served in Fatima-Gallagher Hall. Come join us for prayer and fellowship.
Posadas will be celebrated on Sunday, December 8th, beginning at 5:00 PM in the church. We will then continue in procession to various doors on the parish campus as Joseph and Mary seek a place to stay. The procession will conclude at Fatima-Gallagher Hall where posole will be served and there will be a piñata for the kids.
Because December 8th falls on the Second Sunday of Advent this year, the observance of the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary has been transferred to Monday, December 9th and is not a Holy Day of Obligation this year. Masses will be celebrated at 6:30 AM and 8:15 AM only.
The Christmas Eve Mass Children’s Play will have only ONE, that is right, only ONE Practice/Rehearsal for the Christmas Play on: Saturday, December 21, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM in the Church. *All children are invited to join. High School students are needed to help with the younger children and to be Narrator. Everyone who wishes to participate must be at this practice.* The Christmas Play will be performed before the 4:00 PM Mass on December 24th.
Mass on Thanksgiving Day Thursday, November 28th will be at 9:00 am. Parishioners who attend the Mass are invited to bring the bread/rolls/ tortillas that will be a part of their Thanksgiving meal for a blessing at the end of the Mass. The Parish Office will be closed on Thursday and Friday of Thanksgiving week, November 28 & 29, 2024.
The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is on Thursday, August 15, 2024 and it is a Holy Day of Obligation this year. Masses will be held at 6:30 AM, 8:15 AM and 5:30 PM.
Inquiry sessions for the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA; formerly known as RCIA) and for Adult Confirmation will be starting in a couple of months. There is no cost to participate. For more information, please call the Parish Office.

The celebration begins with Mass and the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick at 11:00 AM in the Church followed by Lunch and then Bingo with prizes in Fatima-Gallagher Hall! All activities are free. The May Crowning of Mary will take place at a special Our Lady of Fatima School Mass at 8:15 AM on Friday, May 3, 2024. That day has been designated as a “Day of Legacy” for our parish school which will be closing at the end of the current school year. Alumni and former teachers of the school are invited to attend the Mass and participate in the May Crowning of Mary followed by tours of the school and a reception in Fatima-Gallagher Hall until 11:00 AM.
A Children’s Easter Egg Hunt, hosted by the Holy Name Society, will take place after the 10 AM Mass on Easter Sunday. Children ages 1-5 meet on the West side of the church near the water fountain in the St. Anthony Meditation Garden, and children ages 6-10 meet on the East side of the church at the grotto of Our Lady of Fatima.
All are invited for a Day of Legacy on May 3, beginning with Mass at 8:15 AM that will include the May Crowning of Mary. A reception with refreshments and a slide-show presentation will take place after Mass in Fatima-Gallagher Hall.
On Friday evenings during Lent (except Good Friday) Our Lady of Fatima Parish will be hosting a simple meatless “Soup Supper”, 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM. A different organization/ministry within the parish and school will prepare the Soup Supper each week, although anyone is welcome to bring soup and/or bread.
