On the Fridays of the first three weeks of Advent (December 6th, 13th, and 20th) we will be having special Advent celebrations beginning in the church with the praying of the Stations of the Crib at 6:30 PM followed by an Advent presentation at 7:00 PM. The Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) will also be available from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. At 7:30 PM, cookies, coffee and hot cocoa will be served in Fatima-Gallagher Hall. Come join us for prayer and fellowship.
Posadas will be celebrated on Sunday, December 8th, beginning at 5:00 PM in the church. We will then continue in procession to various doors on the parish campus as Joseph and Mary seek a place to stay. The procession will conclude at Fatima-Gallagher Hall where posole will be served and there will be a piñata for the kids.
Because December 8th falls on the Second Sunday of Advent this year, the observance of the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary has been transferred to Monday, December 9th and is not a Holy Day of Obligation this year. Masses will be celebrated at 6:30 AM and 8:15 AM only.
The Christmas Eve Mass Children’s Play will have only ONE, that is right, only ONE Practice/Rehearsal for the Christmas Play on: Saturday, December 21, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM in the Church. *All children are invited to join. High School students are needed to help with the younger children and to be Narrator. Everyone who wishes to participate must be at this practice.* The Christmas Play will be performed before the 4:00 PM Mass on December 24th.
