St. Vincent de Paul and Thanksgiving Family Assistance Drive

Our Lady of Fatima St. Vincent de Paul is still collecting monetary donations to help those in need with food, and monetary assistance with utility bills for Thanksgiving and year round.

St. Vincent also wants to help their usual 70-80 families with a gift card to provide families a
means to shop for fresh food items that suit their families Thanksgiving meal tradition. We also accept non-perishable food Donations that can be dropped off in the Parish Office. The food donations will be used to restock the SVDP pantry. Monetary donations can be put in the collection, dropped off at the Parish Office or given to one of the SVDP representatives after Mass. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOUR CHECK IS CLEARLY MARKED that it is designated for St. Vincent de Paul. Online there are options to give to SVDP and/or the Thanksgiving drive.

• $50. for a family of 1-3
• $75. for a family of 4-6
• $125. for a family of 7 and up

Distribution will take place just before Thanksgiving to those families who have pre-qualified for assistance. Please help ensure that the needy in our community can celebrate with a proper thanksgiving Day meal.

Remember, also, that our St. Vincent De Paul Society maintains a food pantry from which we help the needy all year long. By using your monthly St. Vincent de Paul envelope, or dropping off donations of canned and dried foods at the parish office, you continue to help feed the poor all year long.
