Registration for Religious Education classes 2026-2027

We are gearing up to start Religious Education for children in grades Kindergarten through 7th grade. Every child who does not attend a Catholic School needs to be enrolled in Religious Education in the parish where their family is registered. This Religious Education is also known as Catechism and/or CCD (Catechism of Christian Doctrine). Catechism is very important and parents are responsible to ensure that their children come to Church on Sundays and attend Religious Education. 

Third graders are eligible to receive First Holy Communion. If your child is not already Baptized, let us know at the time of registration. 

Religious Education Classes will be held in two, two week sessions from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, Monday through Friday. Students will need to choose ONE of the two week sessions, not attend both. 

1. SESSION ONE: June 1, 2026 through June 12, 2026 
2. SESSION TWO: July 13, 2026 through July 24, 2026 

For those making First Holy Communion the sacrament of First Reconciliation will be: 

• Friday, June 12, 2026 and 
• Friday, July 24, 2026 

First Communion Mass will be Sunday, July 26, 2026 at the 10:00 AM Mass. 

We will have registration for Religious Education Classes starting May 13th, 14th and 15th. We will need to have your child’s information on file and will also need your child’s Baptismal Certificate. If your child needs Baptism, we will need the child’s State Certified Birth Certificate and two sponsors with the required affidavits. Registration Forms will be available online and in the Parish Office by May 5th. There is no charge for the class.
