Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School located in the Northeast Heights of Albuquerque, NM is seeking a principal for the 2018-19 school year. Our Lady of Fatima is a PreK-8 school with an enrollment of 108 and for over 60 years has defined their success by the dedication of their teachers and staff as well as the academic, spiritual, and professional achievements of their
students. We are committed to our school philosophy: Be it known to all who enter here that Christ is the reason for this school. He is the unseen but ever present teacher in its classes. He is the model of its faculty and the inspiration of its students.
Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School is accredited through the Western Catholic Education Association and provides a challenging academic curriculum fostered by Catholic values in a safe, diverse, family-oriented community. Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School is a faith community guided by the Holy Spirit that works to build and nurture the students' total development through the Catholic Doctrine and tradition.
The successful candidate will be a visionary leader with excellent communication and human relations skills who is dedicated to fostering a community of academic excellence within an environment that emphasizes Catholic identity and values.Qualifications include:
- Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Catholic Church
- A master’s degree in educational administration or related field
- Five years experience as a teacher or administrator in a Catholic School
- Be eligible for principal licensure in the state of New Mexico
