Catholic Customs and their Biblical Roots

Beginning on January 16, 2019 the Adult Faith Formation Groups will begin a study of the book “Signs of Life” by Dr. Scott Hahn.

In this book, Dr. Hahn reveals the deep Biblical roots of 20 Catholic customs and religious practices including holy water, the Sign of the Cross, the Mass, guardian angels, novenas, relics, Confession and more.

After completing this book, the Adult Faith Formation groups will begin a study of the book “Into His Likeness” by Dr. Edward Sri.

In this book, Dr. Sri gives an approachable yet in-depth exploration of what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ and how we can know and love Christ more than ever.

The Adult Faith Formation groups meet at Fatima-Gallagher Hall. One group meets Wednesday evenings from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. A second group meets on Thursday mornings from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
